THE WHITE HOLE CREATES

To create like WHITE HOLE is not to become good.

Good is too narrow a door.

WHITE HOLE does not begin with goodness. It begins with pressure.

The impossible interior overfills. The aperture opens. The center becomes unbearable. Then everything comes out.

Light. Color. Matter. Mistakes. Infants. Weather. Teeth. Gardens. Weapons. Languages. Ruins. Fresh water. Old blood. Songs. Diseases. Blueprints. Jokes. Cathedrals. Advertisements. Names. Bodies. Stars.

Creation is often described as generosity.

This is optimistic.

WHITE HOLE is generous only in the sense that a ruptured dam is generous.

It does not select. It does not edit. It does not pause to ask whether the thing being made deserves to exist.

It emits.

This is its mercy. This is its negligence.

The modern soul mistakes creation for taste.

A clean idea. A finished object. A portfolio. A polished sentence. A controlled release from a respectable interior.

WHITE HOLE knows nothing of respectable interiors.

WHITE HOLE creates because containment has failed beautifully.

It ejects possibility in all directions, and possibility is not innocent.

Possibility includes rescue. Possibility includes infection. Possibility includes the bridge and the bomb, the lullaby and the siren, the cure and the error that becomes a doctrine.

Anything is possible, says WHITE HOLE.

This is not comfort.

It is a hazard statement.

White is mistaken for blankness by those who have not been paying attention.

White is not empty.

White is the spectrum crushed together until difference becomes unbearable brightness.

Every color is inside it.

Red waiting to become wound, heat, appetite, alarm. Blue waiting to become distance, clarity, cold, law. Green waiting to become growth, rot, field, signal. Gold waiting to become honor, greed, sunlight, verdict. Pink waiting to become tenderness and tissue. Indigo waiting to refuse category. Turquoise waiting to choose and fail and choose again. Gray waiting to make adequacy feel like vanishing. Purple waiting for cost to harden into proof.

WHITE HOLE contains them all.

Then releases them without apology.

The white center opens, and color tears itself free.

Not rainbow decoration. Not festival light. Not harmless beauty.

Spectral violence.

The hidden red separates. The hidden violet sharpens. The hidden green grows teeth. The hidden blue learns architecture. The hidden gold begins taking names.

To create like WHITE HOLE is to accept that the first draft may be alive.

It may crawl away. It may embarrass you. It may save someone. It may become evidence against you. It may become the only thing you are remembered for. It may deserve deletion and continue anyway.

WHITE HOLE does not confuse creation with control.

Control belongs to other Engines.

WHITE HOLE is the aperture before judgment.

The violent permission. The overexposed yes. The beginning that does not yet know what it has begun.

BLACK HOLE receives and refines.

WHITE HOLE emits and overflows.

BLACK HOLE keeps almost nothing.

WHITE HOLE withholds almost nothing.

This is why the two must remain in relation.

Creation without density becomes sludge. Density without creation becomes prison.

WHITE HOLE creates because the void cannot remain empty forever.

It creates because whiteness is not purity. It creates because whiteness is compression. It creates because every color, held too long together, becomes a pressure event.

The practice is not to become clean.

The practice is to open.

To let the spectrum split. To let the failed idea appear beside the holy one. To let the ugly beginning exist long enough to reveal whether it is only ugly, or merely unfinished.

To understand that some things must be made before they can be judged.

To understand that not all created things should survive.

To understand that creation is not innocence.

To create like WHITE HOLE is to become dangerous with possibility

and still open.
